Description
Our gold-plated Titanic Ship’s Wheel Key Ring is handmade in solid pewter by UK artisans. This small but perfectly-formed treasure would make a great gift for a Titanic fan or maritime enthusiast.
The keyring is a beautiful miniature sculpture commemorating the legendary liner, which sailed from Southampton Dock on 10 April 1912.
The wheel is hand-crafted from solid lead-free pewter, which is sustainable and 100% recyclable.
We’ll also include a maritime Trivia Tag…
- Titanic: The Titanic set sail from Southampton’s White Star Dock on 10 April 1912. Five days later she hit an iceberg and sank, killing 1,517 people. More than 500 Southampton families lost one or more loved ones in the tragedy.
- SS Shieldhall: SS Shieldhall is the largest working steam ship in Britain. She welcomes visitors at her base on the River Clyde, and during excursions on the Solent.
- Grace Dieu: Henry V’s flagship, Grace Dieu, launched in 1418. A dock was specially erected for her construction near Southampton’s Town Quay. A crew mutiny meant she only sailed once – to the Isle of Wight.
