Bring the outdoors into your home with this striking Sycamore Tree Art Print, signed by artist Rachel Reynolds.
Hampshire artist Rachel created this Giclee print to honour the Sycamore trees on Southampton Common. She uses a striking combination of yellow and black, giving a contemporary look that’ll bring a bold flourish to any corner of your home. Each print is created from Rachel’s original drawings and watercolours and is individually signed.
The Sycamore is also a symbol of eternity, making this print a lovely idea for a gift.
The print itself measures 20cm x 20cm (12″ x 12″). It’s printed on archival quality 310gsm paper, made from 100% natural fibres to ensure the inks don’t fade over time. The print comes with a white, acid-free mount and backing board (overall size 37 x 37cm/14.5″ x 14.5”).
What is a ‘Giclee’ print? Giclee (“zhee-klay”) is fine art inkjet printing. The term was coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne, who loved the technique for its ability to reproduce sharp detail and vibrant colour across the full spectrum. Giclee prints really stand the test of time, too: their longevity makes them popular with museums, art galleries and fine art archivists.
Art through the post needs a little extra help, so we wrap and package art with great care so you need not worry about delivery.
All our gifts are handmade by artisans here in the UK. Nothing we use or sell is flown in, so each piece has a low carbon footprint (we seriously dislike carbon miles!)
