Sycamore Tree Greetings Card

The card is larger than A5, printed front and back, and blank inside for your own message. It comes with an envelope made from recycled paper. Both card and envelope are endorsed by Woodland Trust.

Hampshire artist Rachel created the original Sycamore Tree Art Print to honour the Sycamore trees on Southampton Common. The combination of yellow and black gives a striking contemporary look, and it looks fabulous on this oversized greetings card.

The image is full of romance, too, because the Sycamore is a symbol of strength and eternity (it was the dubbed Tree of Life in ancient Egypt). Welsh artisans use Sycamore wood to make decoratively-carved spoons called love spoons.
