The Hidden History walking tour is typically 1.5 hour long and takes you through Southampton’s past…filled with more secrets than you ever imagined! You will explore the city’s Medieval Vaults, the D-Day Wall, Medieval Quarter, the Western Walls, St Michael’s church and more. The Mayflower and the Speedwell departed from Southampton 400 years ago, therefore the stories around the Pilgrim Fathers are also included in the tour. SEE Southampton guides are accredited members of The Institute of Tourist Guiding, Tourism South East and received the Highly Commended Award for Excellence by The Beautiful South. This is a walking tour which departs from the Bargate. Tickets issued as part of this gift set are valid through to Dec 2021 and can be redeemed directly with the operator. Our Honey Ganache chocolates are artisan produced milk chocolate tiles, with local honey and muscovado sugar. They have delicate yet explosive flavours…Muscovado sugar itself (also called Barbados sugar) is an artisanal sugar, as its production is very labour intensive. Want to know more about muscovado? In keeping with the history theme, also in our gift set is a large greetings card from an original painting of the city’s Medieval Walls by Southampton artist Rachel Reynolds. The card is printed on FSC paper and endorsed by the Woodlands Trust.
